Oral histories of the Kellogg African American Health Care Project, 1940-1969.

Transcripts and tape recorded interviews of the 41 African Americans in health care or related fields, who participated in this project. Interviews give biographical details and examine issues of racial discrimination, segregated health care and desegregation efforts in Detroit area hospitals, the impact of labor and migration patterns on medical care for African Americans, and social conditions. Includes printed copies digital photographs.
